A little while ago I received a very generously sized sample of Boscia’s Bright White Mask. Since the product is normally $38 for less than 3oz I was super excited to give it a try!
This peel-off mask “helps to visibly even skintone and diminish the appearance of hyperpigmentation” plus it contains no parabens, sulfates, or phthalates. Since my skin is acne-prone, I normally wouldn’t have purchased this product and would have gone for something clarifying instead, but I love Boscia and was excited to give it a try. The mask is quite thick and goopy, almost like melted rubber. The key to applying it is to not skimp and to really get a good thick layer of product. The first time I used this mask I didn’t apply enough and it was impossible (and quite frustrating) to peel off. Instead of pulling off in large sections, it kept sort of flaking and separating. It was not satisfying.
However, when the correct amount of product is applied and dries completely (about 10-20min), the mask pulls off properly and will leave your skin feeling smooth and refreshed! While I can’t really say I saw a big difference in my skintone’s evenness, my skin was very soft, supple, and exfoliated. If you like pulling off pore strips, you’ll get the same sense of satisfaction here! Overall I loved this product and am sad it’s gone. I’ll definitely consider getting another tube of Boscia’s Bright White Mask again!
