Often people ask me what I do for a living, and it’s not always easy to explain. Right now, I’m helping my sister to navigate all aspects of her career. (If you’ve seen Entourage, I’m basically the sports equivalent of E.) I help her through her decision making process like a business coach, keep track of partnerships and finances like a manager, coordinate travel and scheduling like a personal assistant, monitor deadline execution and flow like a project manager, and analyze social media analytics like a marketer (among many other things). Plus, on top of all that, I get to work with and learn from Paige’s incredible agent, Jeremy Aisenberg, and his team at Octagon (oh hey Ohan, Nicole, Alyssa, and Katie). Their experience in cultivating strategic partnerships and closing meaningful deals is second to none, and I am so grateful Paige chose to put her future in their hands.
But perhaps my favorite and most unexpected job responsibility has become videographer. Thanks to my trusty Nikon D3300, experience hustling as a content creator at startups/nonprofits, plus my highly developed skill of casually lurking in the background (can you lurk and not be a creep?), turns out I’m the perfect person to catch candid footage.
Check out Team Paige’s most recent video below from our trip to South Korea last October!
(Music by the incredible Joshua T Mitchell – thank you!)
One of the best things about ClassPass is that I can finally afford to do Pilates! Frequently touted by supermodels as the way to get long, lean limbs, I had always wanted to make reformer classes a part of my routine (if you don’t know what that is, check out this post for a little run down), but didn’t want to spend the extra $$$ required. Advocates of Pilates include Karlie Kloss, Candice Swanepoel, Alessandra Ambrosio, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Izabel Goulart, and countless others.
But why is this workout so great for getting that model body?
If you’ve ever dreamt of being as effortlessly chic Freja Beha or fall into the basic-is-better camp of Parisian fashion legend Inès de la Fressange (not that kind of basic, this kind of basic), I can guarantee you will fall in love with these ridiculously stylish jewelry lines.
If the above image looks even remotely cool to you, I highly recommend reading on! (And if it doesn’t, may I possibly suggest a good eye doctor?)
Mara Hoffman is the next designer to get in on the high-end activewear trend – and I am so glad she did! The team has crafted some truly awesome pieces that are a funky blend of patterns and basics, performance and athleisure.
At one end of the spectrum you have pieces like this Native American-inspired fully printed Racerback Tank Top that I totally would have rocked to high jump practice (but will now instead wear to hot yoga and Pilates). On the other end, there is this ridiculously comfy looking grey French terry Jumpsuit – the fact that it is a) grey (if you’ve ever worked out in grey pants, you know why this is a problem), b) worn by the model sans bra, and c) basically a sweatshirt onesie, means that the wearer probably isn’t hitting up anything more intense than the local juice bar. Which I am 100% a-okay with. No matter your level of athleticism, Mara Hoffman has guaranteed you’ll be looking surprisingly well put together at your next Soul Cycle class or bottomless mimosa Sunday brunch.

Right now Chanel has a ridiculously adorable campaign going for its new fragrance, Chance Eau Vivre. Apparently crop tops + bowling + sparkles = magic. Despite the fact that the sight of so much spilling perfume gives me a bit of anxiety, there’s something very entrancing about the imagery.
Chanel has even set up a bowling alley in Paris’ Grand Palais for Cinema Paradiso, an 11-day long cult film festival that includes food trucks, a nightclub, dance classes, a salon, and a gourmet pop-up restaurant. Bowling with a Chanel fragrance in Chanel while at a hip Parisian film festival is a dream I never knew I had until now.
Check out “The Film” for Chanel Chance Eau Vivre below, followed by “The Making Of…” special!
Believe it or not, warm weather is right around the corner! And if your city is anything like Denver, you may even be getting the occasional summer-like day already. That could mean two things for you. One, you’re excited about bikini season and want to get in tip-top shape! Or two, you’re excited about exercising in the great outdoors! Either way, you could find yourself needing (okay, wanting) a new pair of sneakers for the new season. Plus, today is Nike #AirMax day! What better day to share my top sneaker picks of the moment?
1. Nike Air Max Thea Print in Light Blue Lacquer/Clearwater/White. What a great color! And the sleek shape will let you rock these to a “real” workout or while you’re out to brunch in Outdoor Voices.
While everyone has been talking about the motherhood theme (which I personally had no problem with, by the way), I’ve been busy staring at the ridiculously good details from the A/W15 Dolce & Gabbana show. I mean, gilded, bejeweled Frends? So good. And can someone please do my makeup like this everyday? K, thanks.
In case you haven’t noticed, there’s been an increase in high-end fashion labels getting into the activewear scene. I feel like this is in part due to the shift from the cigarette/drug induced weight loss fashion trends of decades past to today’s emphasis on living a healthy, active lifestyle and in part due to the industry realizing that there is a huge market for attractive, trendy activewear. There seems to be two camps: fashion-forward performance apparel and fitness-themed day wear. I love them all.
The next line I’ve found myself drooling over is from Cynthia Rowley! Known for her vibrant, adventurous collections, she definitely brought that same sense of whimsy to her first ever line of sportswear that was launched in the Spring 2015 season. Here are a few of my favorite looks.
